Landscape Art that Depicts More Than Nature by Daniel Gerwin in HYPERALLERGIC on April 5, 2017
"Soon Means Soon (Eames) (2017), eight feet wide and nearly as tall, showcasing Huey as a terrific colorist. A dreamlike scene is framed by two buildings, one at the left edge and one at the right. The left building is decidedly pre-modern architecture, with similar houses off in the distance behind. The right-hand structure is mostly glass, following the Eames approach of simplicity and integration with nature, while inside are some figures and a very primitive computer. The buildings embody two opposing philosophies of our relationship to the world: dominance versus coexistence."
